Introduction and Company Overview


L.G. Construction Company, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Lindsey Gay, and along with a team of dedicated men and women, he continues to run the company today. Since the beginning, L.G. Construction has been committed to professionalism and customer satisfaction in ALL aspects of our business. Our staff shares Lindsey’s “can do” attitude, always accepting challenges as they arise.

Lindsey started the business simply with 2 men, a truck, and some tools. Soon he had a full office staff, a small team of skilled and dedicated workers, and more than 40 subcontractors, all focused on achieving the standard of excellence he had envisioned more than 27 years ago. Over the years we’ve maintained good relations with our customers, who have repeatedly invited us to take on further projects with them, often resulting in referrals to their associates and friends. In fact, referrals are our main source of future business and we aim to keep it that way by continuing to focus on the needs of our customers on worksites, in the office, and wherever we operate.

L.G. Construction Company’s mission is to provide the highest quality construction services, and the best value, for the customer’s construction budget. Additionally, we are committed to creating and always maintaining a safe workplace. We have an honest approach to business, and we strive to be men and women of character and integrity, in life, and in the workplace.



L.G. Construction takes safety seriously. Over the years we have developed a Health & Safety Policy, which we enforce in order to insure the safety of our employees and customers, and for the protection of property and the environment.

Lindsey Gay

President & Founder

Lindsey has over forty years experience in the construction business. He founded L.G. Construction in 1987.

Mandy Shuck

Office Manager

Mandy joined the company in 2002. She does everything but swing a hammer and always with a smile on her face.

John Smith, Jr

Construction Manager

John joined the company in 2003. He began as a carpenter, but now manages jobs from the initial bid to the final ribbon cutting.  John has successfully completed all requirements to earn his Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) certification.  Achieving this designation shows John's commitment to the building industry and our clients.
